DAVID LETTENMAIER

Coach

I am happy to be coaching basketball this year for Run and Shoot.  I have a graduate degree in K-12 Physical Education and Health from Willamette University and a minor in Sports Management from Western Oregon University.  I’m currently teaching P.E. for the Beaverton School District.

My coaching and basketball experience has expanded over the years ranging from being an Assistant Coach for the Men’s basketball program at Chemeketa for ten years to working with KYBA in Keizer on their board of directors.

As a father of three girls, I have applied my philosophies to coaching my daughters volleyball teams at Boys and Girls Club, assistant coaching Club, and Junior College volleyball. However, my true passion still lies with basketball and teaching the fundamentals, strategy, and love of play.
